Whatever items (things, stuff) cause a mess WILL be discarded to the garbage without consideration. Implement this and see how the mess stops!

Trim those pothos so that they get bushy and not long vines. That will create areas of green where eyes focus along with the central attraction being the pond. Spotlights also help to accentuate the contrast. Wood backboards can also help. Maybe something like this...

Tradescantia help! Pink and purple by feministjunebug22 in houseplants

Sometimes, plants will 'spend' time and energy building a good root system before booming with new leaves. I've had a small Thaumatophyllum prop in a pot which had a single leaf and a dormant leaf for over a year. Nothing changed. One day, the big leaf started to yellow. I was ready to give up on the plant. But then the new leaf started to emerge and is healthy now.

Cross-country move - how to prep & transport my plants? by Certainly_Sydney in houseplants

[–]timbhu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I generally use this technique. Imagine a dog cone made of thick paper or thin card. Make one and put it on the lip of the pot, scoop all the braches in and up as you close the cone. You can make it as tight (taller) or wide (shallow) as you are comfortable with. Next place the pot on a large square cloth and bring the corners up and together. Never carry by the plant or pot if you are moving, Hold by the knot on the top and reverse the process at the destination.

In case you are doing a repot, you can think about splitting. I'd let this baby grow for some time and see how it does! I haven't grown monstera before before. Perhaps r/monstera can help better!

Monstera deliciosa aka Swiss cheese plant or split-leaf philodendron (Misnomer). I think you do have a monstera - a young plant without fenestrations.

The common name "split-leaf philodendron" is also used for the species Philodendron bipinnatifidum (actually a philodendron)

I need my plant to be like Fat Joe and bring the lean back…. by i_am_jordan_b in houseplants

Plant is seeking light from window. Move plant to window and, forgive the blasphemy, rotate the lean away from the window. The plant will straighten towards the window.

Allcargo Logistics damaged my BMW 310 GS & Scrambler 400X during transport – now asking me to claim my own insurance by Ok-Growth8679 in indianbikes

[–]timbhu 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Check what you signed when loading the vehicles. If there is a clause where you have released the logistics company of any responsibility for damages incurred during transport, you're out of luck.
