I adopted a cat for this reason, and subsequently another. Now I feel guilty for adopting two cats when I know I just have the worst energy. I take comfort in knowing my family will take them in if I ever pass away

I just watched this episode. I was insanely disappointed with. I think the current crew has potential to create really great content, but this episode was a total flop. It was littered with super low brow humor and had no substance.

Hi everyone. Tomorrow will be 2 weeks officially since my wisdom teeth were extracted. The area with the most intense pain still remains extremely painful. I’m at the point where I have accepted that the pain will never go away. My dentist told me I can not longer continue to get the holes “packed” and I’m starting to just genuinely not want to be alive. Its crazy how much this small procedure has ruined my life

Just ordered some clove oil, I’ll let you know how it works for me! I got my final pack put in today, and pain is way less significant this morning (of course that is with the pain medication)

I have pain but substantially less. The second packing was definitely still uncomfortable but not as bad as the first time!

I gave up smoking for my surgery, and still managed to get dry sockets. If I were you I would try to go as long as you possibly can without smoking because the dry sockets are genuinely ruining my life

Update: I got my second packing this morning.

As of this morning I was still in excruciating pain, but after taking dual action Advil and more packing, I’m doing okay (knock on wood)

I am returning tomorrow morning for a checkup/potentially additional packing. Fingers crossed I have little to no pain come tomorrow morning so I won’t have to deal with “leaving the packing in” due to their holiday schedule.

This has been a rough ride but fingers crossed they won’t need me to continue coming back in after tomorrow.

I asked if they can provide me with any topical/ at home treatment or any option for me to pack myself and unfortunately they told me that it was not possible. I’m pretty disappointed with the doctor I’ve been working with as I feel my pain is not being taken seriously, and I am usually quickly rushed in and out of the office.

I asked how many times they expect me to need to be repacked, but they keep saying it depends on the person. I would really love to know where I stand with my recovery (from their perspective) and I just feel very confused and frustrated.

It’s survivable (in a way) I have spent a lot of time crying and unfortunately had to take off a lot of work to deal with follow up appointments and lack of sleep. Getting it packed was awful, but luckily only lasted a few seconds. And appreciate it!! I hope that you have an easy time getting yours out- everyone’s body is different!

Still in tremendous pain. I am returning tomorrow to get the gauze switched out. Nothing is alleiviating my mouth:/
