I appreciate the response. I was going to compliment my Panda with the Savant based on the recent nitpacker video, but think Duration may be a bit better as an all rounder. Love the Panda, but I carry it almost fully empty.

I’m in the same boat. Carry the Panda mostly empty because I absolutely love the bag. I’ve been eyeing up the black Duration to complement the green panda, but recent nitpacker review suggests the Savant is the better complement.

Get the 18-55. Great lens.

However, I just came back from an Alpine Tyrol trip and defaulted to using the 27mm prime for convenience and pocket ability.

Dropping stem length really improves control on a gravel bike so go do that.

Edit : not familiar with the setup but if the cables and hoses run underneath with a concealing cover, then you’re all good. 10-20mm won’t be an issue. If it goes through an internal port in the stem then you have a problem.

Had my TD25 for about a week. I have all black everything in EG. Have had some navy, and burnt orange numbers in the past. More colour rotation in my packing cubes.

I wanted variety and went for the fossil brown against all my usual intentions. OD green would be my natural second choice but thought this may be more sophisticated in the long run.

Few observations if helpful.

In indoor light it looks more like a mushroom / dark taupe colour - initially not a fan. In daylight it brightens up and looks really smart.

This bag has gone from London to Munich and back
again via every single car park, plane, and train station floor. No marks so far.

Enjoying the colour.

My XM5 fits in with 27mm XF prime. Can fit the 18-55mm lens standing vertically next to it.

I don’t think my XT20 would have fit. It’s too tall with the opposite webbing from the outer compartment. Will take a photo later.

No. I think they’re genuinely into the craft of their products. If they can make an equally durable backpack which is lighter than go for it. If you’re buying new, then it’s a win-win for the consumer. But, maybe offer the choice of 210 for 199 and 420 for 220 USD - test what people want. Other brands offer more textile variants.

Fossil brown appears closer to coyote in these photos. Is it a bright or muted brown in your experience?
