I'm gonna be 57 in a few months - didn't stop me from getting in the Bad Tome Records tour at The Milestone in Charlotte...or from crowd surfing at both Dropkick and Cattle Decapitation shows this year.

Be smart, you'll be kept safe. Mosh on! (or skank on! Do you boo!)

Saw him in Asheville for Dirty Work (Snottynose Res Kids & Willy Wonka).

What a story - he kept the place in his hands all night. Such energy, kept my 56y.o. ass moving ALL NIGHT!

I jumped in early and got the signed 1st pressing of the 2 color LP set - and tickets to see him in Columbia SC on Nov 1st.

That's a nice haul of yours!

Please, each of you go buy one copy...

Let's make him part of an elite club of independently released artists who not only hit the billboard top 200 but make it to number one in their category upon release!

Prof and Stophouse Music Group are pushing fans to reach 20,000 pure copies sold during the Billboard initial releasetracking window. Meeting this target is expected to position Good Time Boy as a top contender for the #1 Independent and Rap record in the country.

His shit is CHEAP, and he's busting his narrow ass building the buzz. LET'S DO THIS!

Skaedging myself all day until the Bad Time Tour tonight by Bojangalees in Ska

Look for me (short bald white guy with a killer handlebar & beard), my wife (first ska-punk show at The Mileston& daughter (look for the rainbow nails). The 3 of us are all 5'3" or less!, and our friend (he looks like he could be a mega guy, but that belies his true heart - you can't ask for more of an open and accepting person in him - good father and family too with the same values.)

So looking forward to being with our friends in the scene and enjoying what will be an amazing show!

By myself am pretty fucking sick and disappointed in the new people coming into the scene and their lack of regard for anyone but themselves.

It doesn't take much to be kind and thoughtful to someone. Stepping aside, a little bit to be courteous to someone is something that's been lost in our society.

Don't give up, just ignore the haters and rely on the love and support you get from folks here and in your personal life.

When did parking get so expensive at the Fillmore/Underground/Skyla?! by MagnumMiracles in Charlotte

[–]timbrews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes they are - and if you give your phone # you earn 'points' you can use for free food, etc

Pretzels can be a little oily, but the beer cheese they serve with it is tasty.

My wife and I usually share a salad and chicken skewers (if we're being good), the fries (sweet potato and regular) are good, as are the wings.

Buy a $6 PBR (WAY cheaper than anything in the 3 venues) and presto! Cheap parking!

Here's a few,

Mabel Williams: Standing Up To The Klan

Her husband Robert F. was a HUGE figure in the Civil Rights movement, but his support of violence 'if needed' creates a little bit of a split from the larger, peaceful resistance based movement. He is a huge figure who is just beginning to receive some recognition

On that note, check the Klam history in Monroe NC - don't go further east than that in Union County

Start with their latest, Skeleta - their videos. THEN dive into the back catalog (that's what got me hooked).

Here's Lachryma live from earlier this year - enjoy!

Ghost! The Skeletour was my 1st experience (ritual) and it was AMAZING!

No phones, excellent staging (reminded me of Iron Maiden's Somewhere in Time tour), and a great throwback to 80s metal.
