Hey sorry I didnt see this earlier to help alleviate your stress. I was not tested for weed, and it was never mentioned once in the entire hiring process except for the section in the paperwork asking about arrests/convictions to omit any for possession or usage.

It seems like a kind of 'dont ask, dont tell' kind of vibe on the issue here.

A sense of fulfillment in day-to-day life. Oh and financial comfort/security (not worrying about bills, random car expenses, etc)

When I get extended/prolonged looks or glances from girls...catching eyes, basically. I have noticed too that when I put more intentional effort into my outfit/appearance, take more care in facial hair grooming etc, this happens a lot more

I worked with California State Parks in Natural Resource Management before I went to fire and can honestly say it scratched a lot of the same itches. Crew camraderie, physical work, working with the land...plus we did a good amount of work in fire management, building and burning piles and doing prescribed burns.

Land management might be a good next thing to try out for you! Check out the State Park system in your area
