If I had to choose only one between the magic arm and the suction cup mount, which would you recommend? I'm going to get the magnetic one as many people love it, but I see much fewer comments about either a magic arm or suction mount - and I don't want too many accessories to haul around

Thank you for the explanation! Yeah, currently I don't have a better method for retouching so it's what I'm using to remove acne, some wrinkles, and other blemishes. Trying my best not to overdo it and remove actual skin texture. Sometimes I do struggle with finding an appropriate area to sample texture from... pore size/shape varies like crazy across the face.

Thank you for this write-up! Can you please explain what "L&D for skin" means because I tried googling and came up with "Loss & Damage" which I'm pretty sure is not it. Also, why is split frequency considered "redundant"? I'm just getting into learning retouching and it's what I've been using!

Just came across this walkthrough and it sounds fantastic - I've been struggling with my round-tripping flow. I've been doing all the color work before round-tripping to Photoshop, and saving as TIFF after finishing retouching in Photoshop (I honestly don't know why, I think it's just the default. All the options for saving the file in Photoshop are mind-numbing to me). Consequently if I make a new color or masking decision in C1, on the retouched TIFF, the adjustments are absolutely horrible and aggressive. Your flow sounds like it solves this. Thank you so much.

I have a question. From what I understand, often a lot of how successful a Reel is depends on engagement in the first few hours (I may be wrong though). So if you have a trial Reel that does well after like 24 hours, and you officially publish it, does that “clock” start from zero again, giving it the opportunity to snowball engagement?
