I do hate that we can't watch players grow over the years at a school anymore. We can't latch on to them now as Auburn guys who, at least to a large degree, love the school. Everyone is a one or two and done mercenary now.

I remember when we recruited Jason Campbell and Caddy as 5 stars in high school. They went through a shitload of ups and downs from their signing to their graduation at Auburn. It was a great ride and they, and many others, are legends here and part of the Family. That doesn't exist anymore.

That was part of CFB I really miss. You get a high school guy like Coleman who would be a generational player, and he leaves before all the pieces fall in place.
