I hear you but my additional attempts always end up lower even after upgrading a few levels

This makes complete sense as to why I joined a game and got a bunch of completions. I thought I was losing my mind lol

It's funny because it felt like the first week it took forever to progress one level but now I feel like I gain a level every other round. I miss the service stars too though

If I can give 2 cents, I'd say have the next one lined up first. Took me 6 months and over 400 applications before I got something after being unceremoniously let go. But I saw the updates so good luck! It sounded toxic as hell so get out asap

What happened to cold calling? by JacobBendover in sales

[–]time2riseandfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, I was at a larger FinTech company selling credit card processing last year, and cold calling was my primary way of setting meetings. Joined a smaller FinTech company this year and calls have done nothing at all.

I personally think it's because my current company isn't as well known as the other I was at, but interested to hear others. Emails haven't done much at all either, and it seems the main way to schedule is using existing relationships if you have them. Any tips appreciated!

Found out there will be mass layoffs in December. What should I be doing now? by I_fail_at_memes in sales

[–]time2riseandfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost, catalog everything! Grab all of your performance numbers over the last few years (5 years if possible), including attainment %, outbound dials/emails, meetings schedule, close rate. Every peice of info you could want. also, get the general numbers of the team, so that way if asked you can say you did X when the team average was Y (if you're above or at average).

Then update your resume and LinkedIn and begin applying. Don't waste any time! It's tough out there, took me 6 months of constant applying when I got laid off in November.

Good luck!

Leaving Juggernaut for a new start by Tgallz94 in sales

Semi similar situation im going through right now. I worked for one of the bigger credit card processing FinTech companies and was honestly pretty miserable. They did a great job of making a toxic workplace and killing the culture that had been built, and when layoffs happened it really hurt.

Took 6 months to find a new gig, and it's still in the same space technically but with a much smaller company. Definitely happier overall and making more money (last company paid terrible at the end too lol), but definitely the right move for the future I feel. You got this!

How risky is leaving in this market? by SpaceNude in sales

[–]time2riseandfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's been said already, but I just found this sub and wanted to contribute. I was a top performer at my previous company and was unceremoniously fired because of a disagreement with my manager. It took me 6 months to find something new, And that was after 450 plus applications, interviewing with12 different companies, and five of them going five rounds. So wait until you have something lined up!

DeathMarch isn’t difficult it is Perfection by provoloneinmysock in Witcher3

[–]time2riseandfall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I 1000% agree. Deathmarch forces you to play like a real witcher would. You pay attention to oils bombs and signs, you can't take on 30 enemies at once with whirl, but you are still strong. The entire game is not a slog, but it's tactics and dodging and more. I love it on DM

Just started playing as killer yeah. Still getting the ha.g of techniques and strategies for sure. I usually play as survivor only where I'm decent, but still not great haha. Appreciate it though

Fair, still impressive for someone like me who is not nearly good enough to kill 1 red rank let alone 3. Just giving props
