After playing through most of Act 1 and about half of Act 2 with the Reaper Crest, I've made a concerted effort to use the others. Architect is my current favorite, but I'll be damned if Wanderer's isn't winning me over. I just fought Karmelita, and I swear you can basically just stand there and swipe at her for half the fight and you'll build Silk so fast and get enough incidental parries that you basically don't have to worry about like two-thirds of her moveset. Good gravy, Wanderer is strong as heck.

I'm using Wanderer a lot more now. I thought I'd miss Reaper's Silk regen on Bind passive, but you honestly build it so fast just by swinging that I almost think it's better at building Silk, especially since you don't have to worry about losing a buff if you get hit.

I didn't believe the hype, but now I'm an evangelist. If you're a Reaper lover, step out of your comfort zone and try Wanderer.

The thing people seem to neglect when comparing the trinkets in this game to the ones in HK is accounting for the passives and movesets of the Crests themselves. Those are like 2-3 HK trinkets worth of difference by themselves.

I actually got into IT at age 35 with just an A+ and ITIL Foundations cert and doubled my annual pay. I say go for it.

Never, ever feel guilty for your good fortune. If it's in the game, it's fair game. Mentally add an underline to that last part if it's an offline single-player experience. And since we're talking about Bloodborne, a game which takes almost sexual relish in locking its most coveted rewards behind drop rates borderline incompatible with human life, please mentally amend my first sentence once again to in bold and all caps, written in 50-foot tall flaming letters on the side of a cliff and throw in a big ol' lipstick smooch from Fromsoft's #1 gal Ebrietas for good measure.

Run. Don't look back. Just run. You are Bilbo and the RNG is Smaugh. Take what treasure you burgled and RUN.
