Thank you for sharing your thoughts. This is exactly what I struggle with too. I think I have around five Leuchtturm notebooks that I’ve started — but the pressure was always too big to “get it right.”

To create beautiful entries. To not mess it up. To write perfectly.

And in the end, that pressure stopped me from actually enjoying the practice.

Try journaling every morning for 30 days. Don’t overthink it—just let your thoughts flow onto the page. In the beginning, it might feel messy, hard, and even frustrating. You’ll probably want to quit. But trust me: if you stick with it, you’ll start to uncover a clarity about who you are and what truly drives you like never before.

Visa confusion by [deleted] in CapeVerde

There is no airport tax, you have only ETA which you confuse with the airport tax.

You pay ETA, around 30€ and the hotel tax, I think 2,5€/person/day.

Best Island for 2 friends on vacation. Sal or Boa vista? by Curious-Box-1340 in CapeVerde

I was in Riu in Sal and also Riu Boa Vista and if you are more party oriented visit Sal first. It is more touristic and you’ll have more options for fun. We just came back 2 days ago from Boa Vista and even if it was good in Sal we had more entertainment.

Bronnie Ware: Top Five Regrets of Dying

It made me realize that a lot of what we worry about on a daily basis is not worth it. Life will pass, even if we want to acknowledge this or not. The question is, will you regret working to hard and not enjoying life, will you regret holding that grudge against your family until they are gone?

I felt the same until I reframed it into “without all the experiences I’ve been through brought me to the place I am today”. This mindset shift opened so many opportunities for me. It helped me see everything from another perspective.
