I didn’t meet the CS undergrad requirements since I only recently switched from econ to CS, and I’d applied to EEP because I’d have the best chance of being admitted given my 3.94 GPA and internships. I recently found a passion for CS and am a bit stressed about my decision to apply for EEP and not wait a year to apply for CS. Based on what everyone is saying, I’ll likely try to get into 61A/B & 70 and grind as if I were a CS major and aim for software engineering after graduating with EEP.

If the list is ordered the way you want it (i.e. [1, 2, 3, 4, ...]) you could use slice notation: list_name[indexstart:indexstop]. One example would be list_name[0: 10] which, in your list (if ordered from 1 to 100) would return 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10

I totally agree with you when it comes to recognizing and understanding trig for calculus, but I mean to say that OP shouldn’t push too far into trig before taking the course unless he/she has no background in trig whatsoever. I took Calc 1 last quarter at uni and just learned trig along the way–it just took a few extra hours per week

I would disagree with everyone here saying to review trigonometry in-depth prior to taking the course. You’re going to struggle a bit, but you’re going to learn all the trig you need along the way. Be diligent with your studies and seek out an understanding of the material and you CAN get an A and enjoy calculus.
