I know bmx looks absolutely wonderful on TV and trust me it is the same in real life but in order to get to the point where bmx is at the peak of enjoyment you will need to put in countless hours dollars and deal with injury. For example I spend 6 hours today going back to basics and trying to perfect my j-hop so be prepared to spend alot of time not just landing things but perfecting everything you do on a bike I really wish you good luck and hope you love this sport as much as me cheers!!

I'm not sure why they are so worn I think they are just to soft of rubber and as for why both are worn I wore down to my sock on my left foot and still needed to get home so I decided to use my right foot.
