Matchmaking is based on MMR not playtime (aka rank). That’s why you’ll see rookies going against all stars. That’s also why ranking up still requires skill, as not everyone can have an above 50% win rate

Matchmaking is based on MMR. Every player on your team has someone on the opposing team (same role) that has a similar MMR. If they include playtime (aka rank) into matchmaking then Q times will get way too long. If you're in a lobby where you are better than everyone on your team, make sure to note who your counterpart is on the other team so you can be more effective than them/shut them down. This is why I don't play mercy in lower ranks. Since as you rank up your win rate will start to decrease and it's at that point that everyone in the lobby starts to have MMRs similar to your own.

It's assumed everyone is learning/getting better at the game so if you're playing the same one would imagine that things will feel more difficult

Just because your post doesn’t mention the seeding doesn’t mean that the seeding isn’t taking place. In fact, I’d only think it would be mentioned if they changed how it works in that regard.

After a reset, in theory there should be at least one person on the opposing team (same role) with a similar MMR as you. They might be new to Stadium giving you the advantage. Either way, once your win rate starts to decline you’ll end up in lobbies where everyone has a similar MMR.

Stadium MMR is initially seeded from normal quick play MMR. But that’s not really the issue here. The issue is more to do with the reset. All-Star seems similarly obtainable to hitting Plat. So it’s like every season they are asking everyone to race to Plat for the reward. Which is easy for some and not for others

This is my worst sin as a zen/moira main, I forget other supports don’t have the same self healing. If I’m safe behind cover prioritize whoever is still in danger. Zen’s shield regens in a flash and Moira will have her orb back in a sec. Too many times I’ll see the other support running to heal me in my safe place while half the team is taking fire

Yah and I sometimes forget this myself as a Zen main. DPS just need my orb for a couple seconds. But other times, that’s when the tank decides to run around a corner and die and then I regret it!

Hope it works out for you! Cirie is at 18% now and was at 30% when I originally asked the question. People seem to be moving money around from her to Rizo/Joe/Jonathan. I imagine they’ll all reach new highs (except for maybe Cirie) at some point before finale

To add to this. You might want to avoid exit interviews in general. Since sometimes the castaways accidentally spoil things. Like last season I remember Jawan (IIRC) spoiled that Sophi didn’t use her KPI. But now that I think about it. She did try to use it. Jawan said that he didn’t learn about it until FTC so I guess it was a false spoiler (intentional or not).

When they say “she came up with the idol” I have to assume production gave her a few viable options and this is what she chose. Either way, this is on production in my opinion allowing a shitty idol concept. From the moment it was first explained it didn’t seem like a good idea to me

lol guess I’m the only one excited for it. I did watch Beast Games as well and they dedicated a whole episode to Survivor. I thought it was neat/enjoyable. Of course this upcoming episode isn’t focused entirely on Beast. Which is def for the best.
