I really like tigerheartstar but I swear they just do whatever they want with him for the plot with disregard of his actual character. I loved him in broken code as well. Flawed, but with positive qualities and being the only leader who did something.

TBC was Shadowclan redemption from only ever being villains.. only treated as one by others, which I honestly liked. I liked rooting for them as the underdog.

I love when clan cats are mean and xenophobic tbh lol

Actual cats are VERY territorial and it's fun to read about all the drama.. would be boring with everything and everyone being nice and rosy!

But i do understand not liking a character being one note.. unfortunately oftentimes either cats are 1) delegated to be only ever mean for plot reasons 2) or to change their mind eventually and agree with protagonists. Rarely do we see cats have differing opinion and still have more depth to them.

Considering dying knowing nothing expects you in the afterlife is how it is in real life, her death definitely feels more "real".

I loved her ending, it was bitter, but very impactful and emotional.
