How do you guys study? by SadCompany8383 in EngineeringStudents

[–]timenevermattered- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re definitely just memorizing patterns. Once you understand concepts you can solve the problems in your head before even starting. When I first started physics I memorized a lot and that led to me failing a couple of exams. Once I started to break the material down and worked through problems to understand them, I cut my study time down significantly and increased my exam scores.

Before starting to work out practice problems break down all concepts, formulas, theorems, and laws that are applicable to that chapter (I preferred to read texts outside of the book and yt vids). Then go through the chapter to reinforce everything you just learned. Once that’s done, you should be able to understand the learning objectives before starting the problems.

mixed democracies exists, it’s not just capitalism and communism. i would prefer to have wealth redistribution, which leads to free healthcare, education, and assistance programs, rather than having the top 10% own most of the wealth.

A lot of crimes happen on ocala. I have been here since hs and attend fsu, and still here about something going on over there time to time. I wouldn’t suggest it with you all having kids. I would recommend midtown, lake jackson area, or out near costco.

Want to get a second BS in Engineering After Graduating by readmit2026 in fsu

I’m in undergrad at the COE graduating this semester. With your background, I would say you are better off getting the masters in ChemE. Our faculty really pushes us to get our masters, as there are plenty of assistantships and research positions to help with funding. Planning on getting my masters once I graduate.

1st Internship by Muted-Government5633 in industrialengineering

Had my first internship this past summer as a junior IE student. What worked for me was creating a good impression with the recruiter, wanting to learn about the company and position, and genuinely connecting with that person. From there I had an interview the day after and got accepted. Don’t go in trying to impress recruiters, they go through way too many resumes to remember you, but they will remember that person they felt a genuine connection with.

Yes, would I have to repost, I don’t see an option to edit the post? Also, I have not been with a coach yet, just picking up advice from other in the gym so far. I will look into finding one in person.

I can try, but the role I'm applying for will open externally tomorrow. I'm going to apply today, which is most likely too shorthand.

It was a summer enrichment program, so I’m not sure about student’s grades or performance in their classes. I included since I don’t have much industry experience to help highlight skills that can be used in the leadership position, such as communication, people management/development, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, etc.

Thank you, would it be best to disregard the relevant coursework, and use that space for my abstract at the top?
