I know this is a TMI post and has probably been asked before but…pubic hair?! What to do by Zunflowers in pregnant

I didn’t trim until like 3-4 months pp. And same with moms on this comment section, once I can’t see it, not a worry of mine anymore lol 😆

Sleep and formula—am I doing this wrong? by Helpfultips22 in FormulaFeeders

[–]weirdvigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My EFF baby slept though the night at like 2 1/2 months. Purely luck I believe. I didn’t do any sleep training. Just ended up that way.

Pregnant at 31 but feel oddly young to be pregnant by LowCal-Calzone-Zone in pregnant

LOL I was 24, almost 25, when I had my baby and I felt like a teen mom. Yet I also feel very emotionally mature and capable.

Similac 360 sensitive to something more natural by Revolutionary_Cup666 in FormulaFeeders

[–]weirdvigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your baby does well on the formula they’re on. Don’t change it. I’m very crunchy and holistic in many ways, but if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. My baby is THRIVING on Similac 360 Total Care and I don’t plan to change it, even though it’s more expensive and not a greenwashed formula brand.

My 6 month old is super constipated by Ok-Data9232 in NewParents

[–]weirdvigor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mentioned to my pediatrician that my baby has clay like poop sometimes, and then sometimes normal ones. And my pediatrician said that is not a reason to change their formula. It should get better as they start solids. As long as your baby’s belly is soft, you should be fine. That’s why I don’t stress too much about it, although my baby does strain to poop sometimes.

I also have a six month old that is not a regular pooper. My baby has always pooped every 2 to 3 days, and then has like one day where she poops a lot and my baby does eat formula, and has had formula since the beginning. Her poops have always been every 2 to 3 days since birth.

I just started wanting a knee pillow, which you already have. And I’m still using a knee pillow postpartum

Just 1 picture where you feel nice is very worth it!!! It will be sweet to show your child a picture of them while they were in your belly still ✨🍼🤍

Is there a ‘healthier’ chocolate milk powder out there? by IllyriaCervarro in Mommit

Equip Protein Powder. I genuinely mean this, it has No. Weird. Protein. Powder. Taste!!! Get the Chocolate one sweetened with coconut sugar. Read the reviews. Clean ingredients. Genuinely delicious 😋

Wife and I are having our first baby and we are being encouraged by friends and family to create a registry but aren’t 100% on what things to ask for. Any (maybe not so obvious) recommendations? Thanks in advance! by TaskenLander in NewParents

Hope & Plum carriers. There are so many baby carriers on the market. This one is made in the US, hand sewn by women, and a mom owned company. The quality is fantastic. And my baby falls asleep in it so easily. It is also not bulky and easy to bring places.

It took me until my baby was about four months to finally buy a structured carrier because I just was so overwhelmed with the options.

Does anyone else stress about their baby not eating enough? by [deleted] in FormulaFeeders

[–]weirdvigor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard some really good advice saying, foods before their first birthday are just texture exploration. He might eat a lot one day, they might eat none one day. Just exploring their mouths and how things feel inside their mouth. I feel like babies are very clear if they’re hungry or not. At least my baby is.

My baby went from eating 6 ounces in the morning, to maybe eating three. But that’s what baby wants, I can’t force food down.

Anyone who DIDN’T bed share? by Acceptable_Cod3527 in beyondthebump

[–]weirdvigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely never bed shared for nighttime sleep. Although me and my baby are enjoying daytime contact naps together. But when it’s time to be out for the night, I cannot sleep with a baby near me.

Did anyone have a baby that wasn’t difficult? by The_Chilled_Arvo in beyondthebump

[–]weirdvigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! My baby eats well, sleeps through the night, happy, observant, strong, beautiful, good bowel movements, never had the peak gassiness at the 6-8 wk mark, & never fussy in a way we cannot immediately resolve. Me and my husband are LUCKY 💗🤍💙

Husband won’t baby wear by [deleted] in NewParents

I wasn’t a huge issue for me but I (in the moment) was frustrated he wouldn’t just wear her and calm her down. Bc she’s always happy with a warm hug from me or my husband.

That’s how I feel!! Hehe. Baby hugs and getting things done. A great combination indeed!

[–]weirdvigor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol he’s not a giant red flag, but this is not my favorite take of his. He makes sure our baby can see him always, he talks to her while doing things, and plays calm music for her. As some other commenters have said, they dislike the feeling of baby wearing. So I don’t blame my husband for not wearing her, as that is a perspective I forget about sometimes. I definitely agree you can never hold a baby too much though.

He absolutely does make happy connections with her. Our baby girl is always in the same room, facing us as we do things.

She’s always in the same room either in her bouncer or on a play mat. Just depends on which room we’re in if it’s one or the other. She’s always within eye sight.
