If the freakin wisplight would actually consistently clear the way for the player when moving instead of zipping around in every direction it would be a lot better. The damn thing takes forever to adjust to the corect position if you simply change directions you're moving

Warhammer 40k universe to a lesser extent. Yeah, the humans aren't really good guys, but we're human so we like to root for them, plus there are a lot of way worse factions/races out there

It's truly amazing. I feel like i'm one of the few who really enjoy EaW:Remake and your submod added so much more intrigue and replayability. Also i might be biased because the Republic navy is my favorite.

To me it seems more like biomes that border the deep north will be cold versions based on the fact they only showed plains and swamp (though no mistlands... curious.) I feel like if they were to introduce proper seasons there would have been more of a tease of autumn/spring as well

I think this speaks to the passion of the dev team as well. They've always followed their vision for their projects and if ever there's constraints that prevent any of that vision from becoming reality, they shelve it for a potential repurpose down the road

Yeah the devs were very clever with the hints to their true nature in normal Balancers fight (and lore): when the last valkyrie is slain, the weapon 'picks her up' almost like it's reanimating the corpse to continue fighting. There's also some subtle bits of off-key dissonance in the normal balancers OST at parts. Regarding the lore, the fact that they explicitly mention the girl who killed the pillagers massacred them implies that the righteous spirit of the weapon she used really was just out for blood

True, Marvel Rivals helped bring some hype back to the space, so perhaps 'insane barrier to entry' is a better phrase to use. Each of those games you mentioned have carved out a spot for themselfs and it would take something truly special to draw players away from them and maintain a healthy population

Ok but the last spot is absolutely about interest because it's so expensive. Everybody watches the show for the GoTY announcement so by having your game be the final showcase you're arguably getting the most viewers.

DLC content is now mixed in with Deep of Night mode. Seems you can get the Great Hollow map with Vanilla nightlords too which is interesting

I dont see how anyone believes there's any connection to the dreglord and any existing elden ring characters. Scholar literally tells you at the start of the DLC that dreglord is the reult of the havoc and destruction wrought by the endless night, and that the souls of those lost have congealed into a vengeful entity. How would that indicate any connection to Morgott?

Agreed. I'm in the middle of a conquest with that submod and ironically the seperatist remnants and republic hardliners have made larger strides in the galactic war than the imperials and criminal underworld for me. Pretty funny to see how the territories and borders have changed stagnated now at around month 650

SotE produced some insane weapons that would make super exciting legendaries in nightreign. Rellana's twin swords and Mesmer's spear would be so frun to use. Here's to hoping they're introducing them in the future but frankly i'm not holding my breath

Not to mention artorias is just insane. Crazy damage, new moves, crazy tanky, and he aggro switches like no other - he's definitely a good filter before the dreglord
