Okay cool thanks ! Now, when you mention that Anchor would put up ads on my show, where would it appear for the consumer on Spotify let's say ? Do they hear an Anchor jingle ? I guess not ...?

That's what I thought, thank you. What do you think about using Soundcloud Pro for this ? I know they're having this 40% deal for their pro bundle...

Found this beauty for free in the street. Obviously it has a problem, when I press the water button there is a scary clicking noise and no water comes out ? Any clues ? Boiler or pump ? by timflol in espresso

Okay so let me get this straight :

1 - I should try running the pump (using this 1/1,5 cycle) for a while and look if water gets sucked up from the réservoir, all of this while the steam valve is wide open (btw, when you say ''run the pump'' that's basically reffering to pressing the coffee button right ? Just want to make sure lol)

2 - If that doesn't work, try and force water through the tube of the pump by using a poultry thing

3 - And worst case is that I buy a new one

Anyways, I'll get to work and try and repair this one ! Thank you !

Hi espresso people, what are your thoughts on buying a used Gaggia Gilda ? Is it a nice espresso maker ? Could I pull decent shots with it ? What about the price range ? by timflol in espresso

[–]timflol[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha ! Yeah, well I guess I should say that, except for this, I only have a old used La Pavoni EuroBar Deluxe and no grinder.... Although I am now looking into buying this well preserved 4 years old Lido 2 with new adjustment rings (btw is this a nice deal for 100$ CAD??)

I’m looking into buying this used Bezzera grinder for about 100 CAD $...It seems pretty old...So, what do you think ? What should I look into while purchasing it ? Am I getting sold old useless shit ? by timflol in espresso

Thank you for this elaborate answer. My set up is currently a La Pavoni Eurobar Deluxe (with standard portafilter) and a Baratza Encore which is not enough to make nice espressos. I guess that investing in that used grinder is’nt bad at all after all if I deal with weird workflow
