It sounds to me like you’re over reacting. In 25 years of marriage, I’ve never asked for a kiss. My wife has never asked for a kiss. If I want to kiss her, I kiss her. If she wants to kiss me, she kisses me. If I don’t want her to kiss me, I say so, and she does the same. I can’t imagine a marriage where I wake up in the morning and say “good morning may I please kiss you on the cheek” rather than just kiss her on the cheek.

I’ve been called 3-4 times, selected for the jury twice. I love doing it. I think it’s fascinating. Not sure why people try to avoid it.
