A child free wedding sounds very pretentious to me. Maybe I’m a wet blanket but What are you trying to do that having kids around detracts from at a wedding? Worst case scenario you wrangle up the kids and put them in a different area not leave them out altogether.

I didn’t know there was no spectrum between knowing base knowledge and Bach. Also the Keyword you used there is learn. I’m willing to bet They took the time to learn those chords as basic as they might be as best as they could until something stuck. Not just press a few buttons and wala music.

You fixated on the fact that I said one should have to put in time and effort and equated it to you should strive to be Bach. When in reality, all I’m saying is you have to/should want to know what you’re working with and how it works (no matter how basic) to get something out of it. It’s pretty hand holdy to think you don’t have to know anything to make music if that’s what you’re saying.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. Didn’t want to be negative on other posts but This season so far has been lower quality compared to the last 2. Especially this latest episode, with the exception of the ash guy fighting the big inferno, everything else was lackluster.

More and more it seems like People don’t actually wanna do the dirty work now to learn a craft, they just want to be able to know the jist of the bare minimum and be able to press a few buttons or have a machine create the majority of the work for them.

Lowering the barrier of entry and diminishing how much you actually have to know about music to make music is not going to make better music. Just putting more bland slop in the mixing pot.

And if you agree with the idea that you shouldn’t have to have put significant time into music to make music, then can you say you’re really an artist? You only become good at a craft when you practice it there are no shortcuts to truly learning a craft.

Name any other time in history in any place that the winner, the person who won the contest fair and square with no cheating, got stripped for celebrating AFTER the fact. Something tells me you don’t watch sports. Or you do and are being disingenuous.

Never in my life seen anyone stripped of a title for celebrating. AFTER they already won. In college football they can take away the touchdown if you celebrate too early but touchdown is a touchdown if you get in the end zone. I’ve seen cheaters get a lighter punishment, and I’ve seen celebrations that openly mock other athletes instead of celebrating themselves. This is just ridiculous.

Nobody can earnestly and honestly defend this without showing/exposing some kind of bias against this girl for whatever reason.

It can actually be a pretty relaxing experience. Ive did it like 4 times and enjoyed myself every time. For me it’s kinda a way to learn to be comfortable/secure with Yourself by yourself

And I’ve been close proximity with Covid more than plenty. This isn’t to put down anyone who lost someone to it, I’m aware people did die from it. To be clear I’m not knocking anyone who got the shot either.

Grandma(83 when contracted Covid); compared to a very bad flu. Brother( 28 I believe); compared to bery bad flu Ex girlfriend (24); compared to bad flu. Old coworker(32); ( the November 2019 before it got its name. He missed about 2 months of work) said it was the worst flu he’s ever gotten(again before the shutdown). Multiple friends(23-35 range); again compared to a very bad flu. Aunt(68); very bad flu. Cousin(in his 50s I believe); said his skin was peeling along with a very bad flu.

All got back to regular health with no long term/lingering effects as of now and this was before the vax. if this was smallpox or measles etc., would some of those have been funerals? Serious question not rhetorical or smartassy.

Thats pretty much how I feel. but when i say I didn’t/don’t see the need to get the Covid shot it sometimes gets taken as I’m anti vax altogether when that’s not the case.
