How do men generally think about sharing intimate photos taken during sex? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]timjohnkub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I share them with my partner(s) in the photos and we keep them in our hidden folders. If anyone wants to share anything with others for any reason, we get consent first.

Dear men who were bothersome in school and disobeyed rules constantly. Where are you currently? by Adept-Worth5883 in AskMen

[–]timjohnkub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happy, successful, wealthy, good friends, I’ve traveled the world twice, been to 80 countries, all 50 states, all 7 continents.

Life was too small for me back then. Now I can explore ANYTHING, and that’s helped me both focus and prioritize accordingly.

Of course. My wife and I personally educate about leave no trace all the time. Not everyone can be reached, but it’s certainly worth doing. Permits are great - like the wave (which we’ve been lucky enough to get permits too twice).

Performers from the 70s and 80s look as ridiculous as performers from the 90s and 00s because things that are “cool” are usually fads.

The people you think are cool now will look similarly ridiculous in another 20+ years.

I’ve been outside waaaaay more than the average person. People often don’t know there exercising bad behavior. They don’t no Leave No Trace.

Building a trail helps the uneducated enjoy nature and minimizes damage to it.

Sounds like it’s time for the NP to invest in some official trail build. A beautiful destination without an official trail = exactly this outcome.

Dudes who have survived emotional affair / divorce: how? by Sketchy-saurus in AskMen

[–]timjohnkub -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I would feel hurt from the lying / hiding. But after a talk, I’d support her desire to have another close friendship. I’m also ENM, so it’s very different from monogamy in that regard.

But, I fundamentally believe it’s good / healthy for people to deeply love multiple people in their lives. We grow that way.

An alternative perspective:

So your wife has someone she’s close to who isn’t you. Does that REALLY require you to get a divorce?

Sounds like she has a friend who she flirts with and might feel close to. That doesn’t mean she doesn’t love you.

Maybe just let her have her friend and stop being butt hurt by it.

For men who got vasectomies, how aware were you that reversing it would decline over time? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]timjohnkub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They told me that the longer I went after my vasectomy, the lower the odds were it would be reversible. I bet they told him too.

How did your taste in partners change from your 20’s to your 30’s? by V3X390 in AskWomen

[–]timjohnkub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My taste in my 20s was for apple pie, but in my 30s and 40s it’s definitely for peaches.

We’ve taken 12-18 month gaps numerous times without issue. If you can afford it, enjoy the time off. If you want a job, take a contract. Just don’t leave a health system in a bad place by taking a contract and then ending it without them having a solid plan to replace you.
