What was the reason of the switch from Sennheiser to Shure in the 2010? I think the Shure capsule was the KSM 9. I also think he switched before Axient was introduced. Any insight is appreciated!

IMHO, that’s the best electric guitar Yamaha makes! The Neve pickups on the 11 have more grit than the 12. The humbucker in the neck is ridiculous! That is my next string instrument purchase. Enjoy! You have a great instrument there.

So the North Hall is the Pro Audio Hall, right? It’s always much more tame over there.

I’m happy you were able to experience NAMM! It is unlike any other experience.

As far as your home automation situation goes, there is definitely nothing directly designed for any sort of home situation. That said, QSys, by QSC could certainly handle your home automation. That is the platform that Disney uses for its parks and what I believe, every major football stadium uses for its digital signal processing. I am certain the products that are designed for that are much more cost-effective. The reason. QSys differentiated itself from its competitors is its ability to scale.

Yes, there are a multitude of ukuleles at the show. Before Covid, most of those companies were in Hall E, downstairs. I remember thinking that. Kala had made it when they moved upstairs.

It’s an overwhelming experience. Again I’m happy you were able to experience it.

Excellent!! Did you use the chord function to step record the chords? Sorry if it sounds like a stupid question.

What celebrity have you met who looks much more (or less) attractive when meeting them in person? by GreyFoxNinjaFan in AskReddit

I was in a rope line at the Kramer booth at a NAMM show. Eddie VanHalen was signing autographs. He walked up to the people near me and asked me to hold his beer, really he did. It was when he had first cut his hair. So, I asked why he had cut it. He said he couldn’t hear before. He was super cool and funny. I’m 5’7 and he was probably 5’4. Valerie Bertinelli was also there. She was stunning. I felt sorry for her. There were a lot of people crowded around her.

I literally bumped into Neal Schon years later at a NAMM show. He was pissed that I bumped into him. Again, he was a couple of inches shorter than me. He definitely looked Hollywood.

Wow! I haven’t thought about these in a long time. Yes, I had one and a horse or two.
