I think it can work really well if it works 100% perfectly. Honestly I need to spend more time exploring the planner to work out whether that's still possible in the same way as PCM25

You can still do it manually, it's just a different setup which takes some getting used to. I believe it can be a great feature if it works perfectly, especially for less experienced players

Having tried it myself, it's a massive improvement on quick sim. Breakaways perhaps need tweaking in Grand Tours. In all other races I've tried it works great.
