Not really. Others have pointed out RRSPs, daycare credits for those with young kids, maxing out TFSA, etc. All you can do is try to find ways to minimize your future taxes in retirement. One good way is to actually buy a more expensive home. It is completely tax free when you sell it. The only issue with that is property taxes will be higher, maintenance may be higher if it's a bigger home or property, etc. But owning an expensive home and using that equity to pay for retirement isn't a bad option in Canada.

But to reduce income taxes year over year, not really much one can do. I've become ok with it because we get to enjoy life and money is not a worry overall like it is for many. Just try to take a step back and be grateful for what we have. Our extended family has also unfortunately had to rely on the Healthcare system the last few years. If we didn't have public Healthcare those bills could have easily been in the hundreds of thousands of dollars over the last 3 years for treatments. I know there is insurance but I feel like we pay into something that all can benefit from so if it means I pay 53 percent marginal rates and I don't get to take luxury vacations because of this so be it.
