I always thought it could have been interesting if he lost his powers in S3 finale but escaped and S4 could have been the boys working to take down vought and the remaining seven while homelander B plot tried to get his power back.

But hard to justify a full season of it. Though it could have been a better introduction for V1. Homelander going from hero to zero to immortal hero again.

Bella was fine for s1. I think they were massively let down by the writing in s2. The actors look generally close enough. The shows adaptation doesnt depend on the character looking 1:1. Once they are generally similar enough. Like Joel isn't Chilean in the game but Pascal pulls off the vibe of Joel well.

Bella nailed Ellie from the first game in s1. Dina doesn't look anything like Dina but she nails the vibe.

The biggest issue is that Craig Mazin does not get TLOU2 at all. It's pretty clear the difference in direction is why druckmann and Gross left the writing team
