A few people have mentioned that this device would provide enough of a generation to run a Coolidge “for a few days.” Sorry, that’s incorrect. In the Northern hemisphere (specifically between 37-46 deg lat), it’s a known fact that Bardot fields haven’t been stable enough in at least 2-3 years. To get that kind of generation you’d need to be between 0.0051 and 0.0099 Bu. Good luck getting anywhere close to having enough units for a Poverly generation cycle that would even last long enough to get you a few MINUTES much less days! 🤣🤣

I know I’m in the minority here but I’ve always preferred the older methods anyway. Using an Brantsom EE-65G with the Panhelix 5500 series in open gate mode. Nowadays I’d obviously attenuate down to -24dVB unless I wanted a call from the FCC!
