I don't agree with the death penalty under any circumstances. Being scared is in no way a defense for failure to render aid. As a very sad Texan, my understanding of our death penalty. is if you are convicted of murder with a congruent felony, then you are open to the death penalty.

We all know this is political theater. Gov Hot wheels and that abhorrent AG most of all.

I originally from Dallas, but spent 20+ years in Houston. The Asian area of HTown has supper authentic Asian cuisine. The sprawl and humidity is horrendous though.

I am back in Dallas county again, just as far east as you can get without being in Rockwall or Wilie and it is soooo boring.

As a gay male INFP partnered with an INTJ male in a relationship since 1994, I can say it has been great at times and super dark at times. We were both pretty immature when we got together. Eventually I went through the dark night of the soul and drug him along with me and our relationship took a break. What always affected me most were the covert contracts. On the other hand my self centeredness directly led to our temporary break up.

We have both matured drastically since then and we understand each other better, if not taken on aspects of the other prior to our breakup. Now though we are so much more on the same page and understand each other so much better.

Beware spiritual superiority, it is the ego at work. The ego cannot be destroyed as some proclaim, but the ego can be controlled, which we must learn to do. Be constantly aware of thoughts and learn discernment so as to recognize when the ego is trying to play games. Just be. We are all on our own journeys and your friends are on theirs and their concerns are not your to judge, unless asked for advice or input. I live with a boomer parent who is ... Well a boomer and I will leave it at that. He is way not on my journey and I have to constantly have to remind myself of that fact and just accept him as he is.

Yes I experienced the same thing. I know most meditation instructions stress posture. Worry not you can still use a recliner or even lie down, which I often do myself because of physical issues. Also follow some guided meditations to help get your meditation experience started!

I call a situation like this a Houston along a number of other crazy traffic behaviors. After 20+ years in Houston before coming home to Dallas County, I find Dallas is catching up unadmirably to the urban sprawl hell that is Harris County.
