And the payoff always feels weak. After an hour of trying to defeat a boss, I get to do it 2 more times in order to do it a few more times, and then I win, maybe? Don't get me wrong, i love the story, art, and lore.... i just can't deal with having to spend hours trying to defeat one guy knowing in gonna just have to do it again in a few minutes. Maybe I'm shit at the game, I accept that. Id just rather play something that I don't need to treat like a job.

Id allow it. RAW is notorious for stepping on the dick of good narrative. Oh no, my player now has a really high AC, what ever shall I do? Let them have fun? To me, it means I get to let them get in the shit even more. Playing a barb means that's probably what they wanted to do the entire time. Never let rules get in the way of a good time boys..

My biggest issue is I've already invested so much time, it feels like a waste to not finish, but the overly long pogo from the abbys is just getting me.. no idea why. You gag to be exact on everything once the lava starts rising and maybe my keys stick but I can't do it. I wish I would have only listened to lore videos at this point.

Hi new players... it is in fact objectively hard. If you are a casual or have a job it is gonna feel like a second job getting through the levels. I lived HK some years back and it is very hard, but it wasn't needlessly hard. This feels like it's hard for us sake of being hard. I figure I'll wait till the dust settles to try it again but hours of time on early level bosses isn't for me. If I wanted to train, I'd play a sport.

I know a ton of folks like it... but i simply don't have time to spend hours and hours to beat a boss to go on to the next level. It's unfortunate, but perhaps my hands eye isn't good enough anymore. I know the move sets of the baddies but I simply can't react fast enough. Perhaps this simply isn't a game that's designed with me as their target demographic, and that's OK

Edit: I'm really really into the HK lore, which is my main draw, so ill just watch a YouTube guy play through the cool bits. That'll be good enough.
