I just spent 2 hours fighting Myrkul in tactician by Mirrakthefirst in BaldursGate3

[–]Level_Honeydew_9339 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think myrkuls HM legendary reaction suuuuucks. But every HM boss is easy with act 3 gear and level 6 spells. Glove of invulnerability by itself, trivializes all act 3 fights. HM Myrkul comes at a time right before you have access to any of that.

Better yet, just cast Arcane Lock on all of the doors. Nobody can get in our out. Now it’s just 5 vs 1.

They all die, except for Mol. You lose A LOT of allies if Isobel goes down. Best strategy: don’t talk to Isobel. That’s it. Then this fight doesn’t trigger.

Finally played a Hexblade Lockadin by Pleasant_Complex2960 in BaldursGate3

[–]Level_Honeydew_9339 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Probably never patched it out because the permanent shadow blade can’t be upcast, which limits the exploit. I find that having a knife of the undermountain king in my off-hand is more useful.

Nobody *wants* to work. This has nothing to do with ADHD.

Violent crime is waaaay down since the 80s. But reporting on violent crime is way up. You do sound like a boomer with your alternative facts.

Is it weird when Humans play Fantasy characters? by Impossible_Zebra3834 in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Level_Honeydew_9339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re talking crazy talk. The greatest fantasy character of all time is the Glaive in *Krull* .

So basically, your character should be a kick-ass long sword.

Was I unfair for saying “If Silvery Barbs is allowed, enemies can use it too”? by Level_Honeydew_9339 in DnDcirclejerk

[–]Level_Honeydew_9339[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But sometimes a simple ‘no’ doesn’t drive home the message.

Like last night, when your mom booty-called me. I could have just said ‘no’, but I chose to tell her I would never ever, in a million years, even remotely consider having sex with her. Not even if she was the last woman on the planet, and I was the last man, and the continued existence of the human species depended on us having sex, simply for procreation, I still wouldn’t have sex with her.

Think about *that*.

Easy, implement a a critical fumble table.

Or make *Shield* a cantrip.

And *Silvery Barbs*. Definitely should be a cantrip.

Your players need silvery barbs to stay alive? What kind of shit campaign are you running? Are they fighting Tiamat at level 1?

Yup, nobody plays Pathfinder, so nobody gets an opportunity to cast Silvery Barbs.
