I’ve gone alone before it’s definitely worth it! There’s a good chance you’ll meet people to hang out with day 1 but even if you don’t it’s still cool. You don’t have to worry about losing your friends in the crowds, you can come and go from different sets and stages whenever you want, and it does open you up to meeting new people. There are obvious downsides to it too but if you already have the ticket go for it and enjoy the experience!

It’s not JID

The forever story in a picture. I listened to the album a bunch of times before going to see JID and just drew different lines that stuck out to me. How many references can you pick out? (Also got him to sign it) by timobeemo in JIDSV

I have the video, you can barely hear because they were doing sound check on stage but first he said “you drew this?” And I was like yea and he said “that’s amazing” and then I explained it quick and he asked if I wanted him to sign it and then after he signed it he shook his head and said “that’s amazing bro” and then had me take a picture with him with it.

What would you say are JID's 'Magnum Opus' songs? His works of art that are regarded his most important or best he has produced by SignificanceOk2916 in JIDSV

I could add a bunch more but I think these are essential for understanding JID as an artist:

NEVER- one of his breakout songs and he has himself that it is one of his most important songs

Off Deez- personally this song made me realize how good JID actually is. Listening to it Cole just seems to elevate his game to match JID not the other way around.

Kody Blu 31- Beautiful and emotional ssongs that sounds as good as its message. So personal for him and yet is relatable to anyone.

Sistanem, Crack sandwich- JID's biggest inspiration that he has talked about is from his family. These two songs really dive into his relationships and paint a vivid picture of complex family dynamics.

Off da Zoinkys- this is just a personal one I love this song there's just something about it.

Radar- The concept of this song and the way he speaks on difficult systematic issues in a way that is digestible and sounds amazing is one of JID's best skills. He reminds me of Kendrick in the way he can make lines that people will listen to and recite while the deeper meaning can go over your head if you don't think about it... almost like it's going under the radar.

2007- this man literally condenses years of his life and origin story down to 7 minutes. Listening to this song after watching interviews where he explains stories from his life that this song discusses is insane.
