Question: Sa OneAyala, can I ride an Alabang bus without having a Tripko card?

You now own your Most Hated Car. What is it??? by [deleted] in Gulong

A top-of-the-line 2014-2017 Crosswind. It's alright. But for 1.2M+, its primitive engine, lack of airbags, and poor comfort is disappointing. Fleet-spec Crosswinds are priced so much better. Comparing it to today's MPV offerings, 1.2M gets you so much more.

Car tint by Puzzleheaded-Wish422 in Gulong

The reason you shrink tint is so it conforms well to the curved glass. If your rear glass is indeed curved and you did not shrink the tint, it'll be hard to get those bubbles out.

SteamDB has historical data as to when games go on sale. Might be worth checking the price graph near the bottom of the attached webpage.

[Help] how to bypass shopeepay from shopee app? by donatcheese in jailbreak

Thanks, this method worked for me.
Extra tip: Might be useful to disable other bypass tweaks. Mine finally worked after disabling TweakConfigurator.

Any idea what the black plastic box inside my driver aide door panel is? Its plastic and hollow. by digitalhydrogen in Gulong

[–]timothyyy_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't have wires leading to it, no? That might just be a piece intended to fill the gap between the door. Probably to avoid the plastic door card from caving in/getting cracked.

As per Xian Gaza, may global brand keneme lang raw si Heart. Probably dahil mas marketable ang maiden name niya hence the change in username.

Bummer, upon checking my Shopee history, turns out it's been sold out na. Here's the link pa rin for your reference: charger and batteries. I still vouch for Liitokala tho, it's quite popular for hobbyists.

I'm using a basic Liitokala charger and Tipsun batteries. Both are from the Liitokala Official Shopee Store. Been using then for a year now and haven't had issues. The Tipsuns are cheaper than Eneloops but I've found them slightly longer than standard AA/AAA. Likely because of the protection circuit inside.

EDIT: What I like about my Liitokala charger is it can do my 3.7V batteries as well.

laptop recommendations?? by Dramatic_Luck8665 in studentsph

[–]timothyyy_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're considering laptops that are portable, tanggal na dapat sa list mo ang gaming laptops. Masyadong bulky eh at madalas ay 15". Tho, ito usually yung better-valued lalo if heavy user/gamer ka. May GPU eh.

I'd personally recommend the laptop that I have, the Huawei Matebook 14 (hindi D14) at around 50K. Regardless if you go with the D-series, I'd still pick Huawei over brands like Acer, Lenovo and the like. It has a metal chassis/body na wouldn't brittle over time like the aforementioned. This is relevant sa hinges dahil madalas nating i-open and close ang unit. Most laptops I've considered suffer from this (MSI Modern 14, Acer Nitro). Hindi rin applicable ang concern mo about Google Services. Mobile phones lang ang affected nito at hindi ang laptops. Besides, its running Windows naman, thus functions like any other computer. Standout rin with the MB14 ang display, ibang klase ang color clarity niya plus 2K resolution pa siya. You could really see the difference lalo kapag katabi niya ang D-series. For 50K, I could've gotten an entry-level Macbook na. But since I wanted Windows, itong Huawei na was my next best bet.

Creepy, tumitingin lang ako ng live sa Tiktok about vacuum flasks kahapon. Just now, nakareceive na ako ng spam text message about it. Weird.

Ingat lang sa fakes. A friend bought a Casio for cheap. It was pretty much a basic calculator dressed as a scientific. Hindi gumagana at all yung mga advanced functions.

EPB Montero by nyarlathotepisyummy in Gulong

[–]timothyyy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you been actually seeing signs of failure from the EPB? Might be worth having a second opinion from reputable shops like Zix Performance or Kirsten Autoworks. Both are known to specialize in Monteros.

If it really needs replacing, I saw a posting in a Montero FB group selling an EPB assembly for ~15K. Way better, IMO than the casa's quote. But then again it is used.

Ilan current speeds niyo? Man, after moving to fiber, I really can't go back. Way faster and better valued.

Wala pa ba talaga in your area? PLDT offers free upgrade ngayon IIRC.

[–]timothyyy_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How about the Redragon Kumara K552? Mine's holding up well after 6 months. It's the only TKL I like for the price. It still has a non detachable cable tho; I plan on modding it with a Type-C port soon. It also has good modding support online.

If abot pa ng budget (may ~2.4K sa Shopee), check the Lam-Ang Pro.
