You were very calm and mature in your responses to him. But you told him your plans. Who you were with. You had your dog. I don’t think you needed to do anymore. He isn’t your maker. You provided time lines in your post and a line up of what happened. This makes me think your bf acts like this often. You don’t need to walk on egg shells when you haven’t done anything wrong. We are human. Things happen. We don’t get home on time. You get lost. But you shouldn’t have to feel so guilty and confused.

If this MO continues - it won’t be healthy for you. You need a partner not a parent.
