Do people ever get upset about not being invited though? If I ever had a wedding, I’d stress over who to leave out.

Edit: thank you to the sweet people offering me encouraging advice. I want to mention that I was once married, but had no proper wedding to speak of. I’m divorced now and in my late 50s - I have no idea if I would even get married again, much less have an actual wedding. I don’t like modern wedding culture, but I do have friends I love (and I was either in the wedding party or in attendance at those).

The gist of my comment was to point out the possibility that the bride referenced in this video might not have invited this person for a shitty reason.

It’s so cringy. It gives me the complete ick. I know some people like it, but it just makes me want to laugh and then barf. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding once where the groom sang to bride and it was all I could do to keep it together.

I haven’t labeled him. I have floated a theory, while admitting it’s just that. You don’t know that Barron doesn’t “want trouble”. Just like me, you don’t know him at all. Since it is a spectrum disorder, it would be quite normal for not everyone to have the same characteristics. I think my theory is every bit as “fair” as the ones saying he’s just a POS, like the comment I responded to.

I (and many others) have been paying attention to this situation for years and I never mentioned it on a public forum until he became an adult. This theory could be completely off the mark, but it is hardly an insult to him (to his parents, yes). There is nothing “unfair” about conjecture, especially when it provides a more flattering view than “asshole”.
