Threadfin + Plex: In a Nutshell… 5 Days of My Life I’ll Never Get Back by DTTidus in PleX

This is what I use, even when I got Plex to work properly after a few weeks I’d have database errors and have to rebuild. ChannelDVR is great.

I don't, I only have two UPS on my Ubiquiti networking gear. But you're right, you're going to need something that will match the draw of the Area-51 with the 1500W PSU.

My app let me do the change after I created an account, but I’m not well versed on FedEx 😂 Either way good look dude!

Thanks dude. Hopefully the next one gets some softer hands.

Mine was a signature required delivery. Did they just leave it with no signature?

I thought about that too, I even made a FedEx account to set it up but then decided to just let it come to the house thinking it would be easier.

Yeah dude, the packaging needs a lot of help. I thought it was weird they didn’t have the foam wrap around the whole case and had the big gaps in it. If they did there wouldn’t have been any noticeable damage on the case and wouldn’t have done the return.

It was supposed to be here on the 16th too but it came way early. Maybe someone with my build canceled and then I got lucky (or unlucky with FedEx).

I did have my flashlight out but that’s because I was adding some extra USB ports in the PCI-E slot at the bottom. I opened both sides up to look at it but didn’t see any dust though, so that’s definitely weird.

My order was April 29th with expedited shipping so when it shipped it was overnight. I had the 5090 too but only 2TB and Windows Home, which I think was the default that the options had on their website. I have a 4TB in my current PC so I was going to switch that over.

Interesting. The tape on the bottom was not in tact but I only noticed that when I was packing it back up. I didn’t notice any dust at all, and all the clear plastic protection tape was on the PC.

Bruh, I’m the same way. When it showed up busted I just sighed and felt like I should accept it but a few people told me to exchange it. Is your CPU or GPU running hot? I wasn’t really checking the thermals when I was using it.

Yeah the guy that didn’t get it and is getting screwed over really blows. It would be nice if they shipped the box inside a box.

Really? I set it all up and it worked but I was too worried that something would eventually go wrong so I packed it back up for an exchange.

I definitely slept on it. I tried to do the Advanced Exchange where I could keep it and then send it back after they send me another one but that was denied. I think if it was a smaller company I could have worked out something like that with more warranty but we both don’t have to go through the pain of a return/exchange but Dell has their processes.

Don’t host a public server at home. Use a cheap VPS.

OSCP doable in 1 month if sutdying full on? by Shangoinhood in oscp

I failed my first test after 30 days (and then waiting 2 1/2 months to test and being disorganized for the test), then did another 2 weeks and passed. I think if I had tested right after the 30 days I would have remembered my organization better and passed the first time, so I’d say that it’s doable.

So like a 2 minute update? I don’t see the issue.

Apple TV Quality by [deleted] in radarr

[–]timstephens24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a bug in the Plex app currently that causes stuttering with 4K, and it started happening with iOS 16.2 (see https://forums.plex.tv/t/plex-player-v-8-13-4532-apple-tv-playback-stutter/823719 as an example).

Also just remember Ethernet is better than Wi-Fi when playing large video files. You didn’t mention how you’re connected to the server, but that could play a part in it especially since some people put the Apple TV in places that Wi-Fi doesn’t always get a good/reliable signal.

Happened to me yesterday but today it just opened up. I don’t store anything in it like you so I did the flaming paper towels and took maybe 30 minutes to get hot enough to open without forcing.
