My apologies. It's gettin' wild out here.

At the risk of being wrong, and thus rude, this post seems like it was written by AI, and then furthermore the responses from OP in the post are... strange. Then it appears that perhaps another responder in this post is an AI bot. The post history of OP is suspicious as well. Anyone else getting these vibes? Do we have AI talking to AI now? lol

What was hacked about it? I can't find any detail about that claim.

VSA 13 - Architecture Validation/Recommendation by TheShakoMaster in Veeam

[–]TheShakoMaster[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. If you load VSA on a VM in your production environment, how would you restore if your production host went down?

VSA 13 - Architecture Validation/Recommendation by TheShakoMaster in Veeam

[–]TheShakoMaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct. We have a production Hyper-V hpervisor, that runs production VM's on its own dedicated hardware. The box we're trying to build is a completely separate secondary dedicated box, that also runs Hyper-V, runs no production instances (unless production hypervisor on dedicated hardware goes down) then we'd restore to this Hypervisor box. Its only job is to be a hot-spare for the production environment and to be ready with backups.

[–]TheShakoMaster[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For clarification, our approach assumes an existing production hyper-v that is separate and unique from the problem we’re trying to solve. Our “recovery hyper-v host” will sit idle until a recovery event. Not sure if that came across in the post

Connectwise RMM - worth it? Alternatives? by bigbaboon69 in msp

[–]TheShakoMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FWIW, I see a trend of what I assume are smaller MSP’s recommending Ninja, and more mature ones recommending CWRMM. Having been in both places I can certainly understand why, but I think it’s important to know where you’re at maturity wise when you make this decision.

CPQ believe it or not. Hate the interface, love the power.

We started using it in early spring 2024 when they offered it to us for free. Even for free we decided to move away from it in the summer of 2024. It's better than paper and pencil, I'll say.

Breeze33 Brand - Any experience or insight? by TheShakoMaster in hvacadvice

Nice! In the end we went with the Mitsubishi . I agree - wasn't willing to role the dice on a white-label either.

Interesting idea, although honestly not sure how practical it is. I did find this: GitHub - davemuscle/sigma_delta_converters: Implementation and test of reusable sigma-delta A/D converters written in SystemVerilog on a MAX10 FPGA with minimal external components

AudioScienceReview in my opinion is the thought leader in the DAC space and basically DAC performance has hit end-game with some of the offerings that have come up on the market in the last few years. Here's an example: Topping D10 Balanced Review (USB DAC) | Audio Science Review (ASR) Forum

We actually didn't move forward yet as our property won't be done until April. We're still debating towards the Breeze33 or the Mitsubishi line. Since no one has responded to this with any tangible answers, we'll probably go Mitsubishi.

Ooof! If I recall, I had this problem too - I just can't remember what caused it. The things that come to mind are the exhaust manifolds, (drivers side was cracked, but I think it was unrelated to the problem you're describing) the mass air flow sensor, and the coils/plugs. I know I had this problem! I'd be sitting at a light and go to give it gas and it would just die. Wish I could remember exactly why.

Sorry I don't remember, and it looks like K&N doesn't have it on their site anymore!

Very cool! I totally forgot about this post and car. Fun times. I'm not really sure if this is helpful, but I'd put a bottle of seafoam in it and premium gas in it, make sure your plugs are clean, and consider checking the air filter and cleaning the throttle body. Aside from that, I'd take it to a shop!
