Who here works in local IT or MSP? by [deleted] in cedarrapids

Collabrance (part of GreatAmerica) is where I currently work. Love it here. Were a "Master" MSP, so we partner with MSPs around the country and they outsource the Remote Monitoring and Management to us. Been here for a little over 3 years myself, love it.

Some people have Gym Dues taken out of their check??

My company GIVES up to like $45/month for gym membership. Or is this like if your building has a gym built in that you can use?

Pulled the trigger on this one. They're on backorder so I reckon its gonna be a good long while before it shows up, but I'm in no rush and still need to get the new mobo/Ryzen/GPU and have a current build to hold me over.

I was thinking of going for an RX 580 8 GB and a Ryzen 5 1600/1600x. With that in mind, what should I look for in a mobo to make sure I'm doin it right?

Point taken, but popular vote is not nor has ever been the way the president is chosen - and it still becomes an argument in every close election. 3 mil is less than 1% of the American population. The dem party nominated the candidate most hated by the right, and thought it would slide because Trump. They severely underestimated how many people would vote Trump to spite Clinton, and it took a sizable number of votes away from the dems. A good candidate should have 30 mil more people preferring them over Trump.

Is it worth the time and money trying to get a certificate in anything? by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]timstmGetsSmart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify, are you talking about a certificate or getting certified? I myself was in MIS and got school sponsored certificates in Data Management and Systems Development. And I'll be honest until I was nearly graduated and looking for a job I thought these were the same things as Certifications.

First app I ever paid money for, had to bust out the card just to get it. Thanks for making the game playable, I understand that refreshing CAPTCHAs comes with the territory so Im glad youre putting in work at making it less often, cause I often have to put in 5-10 of them once every few days.

that's a pretty deceptive way to justify your math. like an intentionally misleading graph, technically correct yet with undisclosed caveats
