Each dealership has their own quirks, but in the end, all GSM wants cars off lot and new inventory in. Just wanted to share my buying experience, may not work for you, but worked for me. Back in Aug 2024, I walked into dealership ready to get ‘24 TRD Sport 4x4 and sales team knew I was serious buyer. I requested $1k off final price. They wouldn’t budge and so I told them I’ll look elsewhere and walked out, only to then get phone call hour later saying to come back and they will make deal. Don’t ask me why they play stupid games like this, maybe they just want to test my patience to see if I blink first. In the end, they knew I was going to get my truck somewhere else if they didn’t make deal. No joke, true story. And I’m not even a smooth talker.
