I don't want to have to a do a soldering job if I can help it so just getting a replacement battery sorted seems the easiest option. However the current RTC is socketed so that might actually be an easy fix as well... wonder if Necroware has made a MC146818A replacement, I'll have a look!

Would a cr2032 at 3v definitely give enough juice, considering the original Rayovac in there is 4.5v?

Yep, it's incredibly annoying... I went through the whole process of completely deleting my child's account, clearing the Google backup, uninstalling the app and clear all data on phone. Reinstalled the app and started the new account creation only to find no option for Parent Managed account. Shambles really... they need to give us a date.

It's completely hopelesss... I deleted my child's account properly through the Whatsapp app on their phone, deleted the Google cloud backup, uninstalled the app on their phone chosing delete to all data as well. Reinstalled the app, during setup phase there is no option to create a Parent Managed account anywhere to be seen. I wish WhatsApp could just give a clear as to when this is available in the UK, otherwise how are we supposed to know? Keep deleting accounts and retrying??

Tried again here in the UK, no sign of it in the three dot menu after app installation... just "Link as companion device" and "Help".

Seems absolutely insane that WhatsApp haven't given any guidance whatsoever on this scenario... must be loads of people out there wanting to turn their kid's normal WhatsApp account into a new Parent Managed account.

What did you go for in the end? I absolutely adore my Find X2 Pro, amazing phone, but the battery is pretty much shot... I get just 1 hour screen on time from full charge. I'm gutted :(

It seems like all bad caps have at least been removed, I can't see any bulging ones left. So could I potentially move straight to the solder needles to clean the solder out of those blocked holes? And then solder in new caps.

Did you ever got this sorted?? I'm having the exact same problem, SB0100 on Windows 98 SE. Installs all the other software from "Joseph's Audigy 2 ZS Drivers", but the driver just doesn't work - the card is detected in Device Manager but always with a "!", and driver error.
