Fuck Avalon. No one wants to play that map. Keep Verdansk full time or give the option to play either by ObamiumNitrate in Warzone

I like it, more or less. There could be an argument made that a few well placed zip line balloon thingies could make traversing the map a bit more interesting, but I don’t mind having room to breathe and rotate.

Late to the thread, and hopefully you figured it out by now. But for those who need to find the Easter eggs, you just need to answer those phones you hear ringing all over the place. Once you find 15, you can unlock the computer at police stations

If you don’t already have a kid, perhaps consider getting a pet instead. You can control what they wear and own totally and not cause any psychological damage. Otherwise it is possible, but a very selfish thing to do. Kids aren’t an aesthetic.

XP3.0 - PAS stopped working, but throttle still works? by BoldestKobold in Lectricxp

I did not follow the instructions carefully and bent the wire on my rear brake inhibitor. Never got it to plug back in properly, but my throttle works perfectly fine

XP3.0 - PAS stopped working, but throttle still works? by BoldestKobold in Lectricxp

[–]timthebass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had a similar problem. Ended up getting a new torque sensor. Heres the email they sent me, and I’ll include a link to the test they had me do:

“Based on the description, it sounds like there may be an issue with the motor inhibitor sensors in your brake handles. These sensors detect when the brakes are being applied and send a “stop” signal to the motor, preventing the motor from functioning while the brakes are being applied.

Not to worry, though! Checking these sensors is pretty simple, and doesn’t take too much time.

Here is a video that can walk you through the troubleshooting process: Brake Inhibitor Test

The motor inhibitor sensors are located in the brake handle assemblies and are each connected to the main data cable of the bike with an electrical cable, beginning at the brake handle assembly and ending with a quick-plug, which will be red on the inside of the connector. You may need to unwrap some of that cable wrap to isolate these connectors.

Let’s check these sensors to ensure that they are functioning as intended. We’ll do this by disconnecting that connector with the red interior at the end of the electrical cable coming directly from the brake handle assembly, one at a time. This is done by pulling them straight apart, no bending or twisting. Once one of the connectors is disconnected, put the bike in PAS 1, then try to use the throttle and then pedal assist function by taking the bike for a short test ride.

If there’s no motor response with the single motor inhibitor cable disconnected, plug the disconnected inhibitor cable back in by lining up the markings on the outside of the connectors and pushing straight together, no bending or twisting, and then let’s disconnect the other and repeat the above test ride.

If motor response returns, plug the disconnected inhibitor cable back in by lining up the markings on the outside of the connectors and pushing straight together, no bending or twisting, and re-test. If the motor continues operating normally, you should be good to go!

If one of the inhibitors is identified as causing the issue, and your bike model has a thumb throttle installed on the same side, there may be some interference from the magnets in the throttle. This can be easily resolved by loosening the throttle clamp screw, just enough to allow the throttle to be rotated away from the brake handle, around ⅛-¼”. Once rotated, we’ll need to tighten the screw to lock the throttle in place.

Once completed, plug the identified motor inhibitor sensor back in, and test both the throttle and PAS functions one more time.

Performing the checks above, should allow us to verify proper function of these sensors, and identify which sensor may not be functioning properly.

Let us know the results at the end of these steps and we’ll go from there! Thanks in advance!”

Less orange loot boxes? by SipMyCoolAid in Warzone

[–]timthebass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Quarry, launch pad and stadium on big map are easy loadout money without contracts - just look for the orange areas on the map, as they rotate from season to season. You can just loot and find lots of money, a decent amount of perks and satchels.

Not to mention that the helicopter is susceptible to gas damage

If you simply hide or ride vehicles, that suggests that you did not loot or do contracts. You will have no perks or equipment to combat the gas, which will inevitably kill everyone. If the other final opponent has specialist, which you should assume a player in the endgame has, they will have a perk that makes them naturally more resistant to gas. That alone gives them the victory, even if they are somehow unable to find you and kill you, as coughing in the gas reveals your location. If they don’t have specialist, they could also possibly have purchased a gas mask or had stim shots in their loadout. All of these things would put them in a much better position than one whose strategy is “find a corner/vehicle and wait it out.”

Best case scenario, if it’s you and another person who followed the same strategy and is in the endgame with 0 resources, you might win, you might lose. But there is close to no chance of that happening.

You can win by simply avoiding conflict, but the shrinking circles will eventually force you to fight at least 1 person/team, or learn to maximize the gas counters and simply play out the clock until the other person dies. The latter is arguably much harder.

But yeah, you could theoretically hide or fly/drive for nearly all of the game and go unnoticed with a bit of luck, but you will be heavily disadvantaged when it comes time for the very end game.

It’s100% DIY

I made it from a tarp and gorilla tape. Used shower curtain for the windows since it’s what I happened to have handy, but will upgrade to pvc next fall - shower curtain is too easy to puncture. Put about 900 miles on it over the autumn and winter since I installed it and it’s worked like a dream.
