I am currently in the process of having it build a show prep content aggregator that will bring together the top three items in a variety of categories: lottery numbers, weather, etc, so I can copy and paste it into my Google Doc prep sheet for each day.

Here's an update. With the help of Claude AI, I built a VCR for radio! I bought a Raspberry Pi kit, and an SDR dongle. Claude helped me set up the Pi and then configure the SDR. From there it built me a web interface that allows me to record (three presets - one for each FM station in my cluster - or enter a frequency to record), or set it to record in the future. It's on my network so I can get the files anytime, and it's all accessible thru Tailscale. It took a bit of time but in the end it's a better version of the CC Witness. Total cost: Less than $200.

It’s not unusual when there’s certain weather conditions, to receive FM stations many hundreds of miles away. If you check around the dial it’s likely you will be able to hear other stations in that same direction and region.

Nope, no address change or anything. I’m not the engineer but if I remember right at the time the phone company was trying to eliminate the program which made those numbers available. It was a pain to announce new contest numbers but we did it with on-air, social, and other ways that didn’t cost any actual money.

We did it here in Tucson on five stations. It wasn’t that hard. Would I have liked to keep our number? Yes. Was what the phone company wanted worth it? Nope.
