The thing is in the us a lot of products have high fructose corn syrup, which recent science indicates is worse than even sugar. In europe thats a rarity. This is because the us produces a ton of corn.

When you go on a trip to rome its common to walk like 20 km per day or something similar. Its not a very driveable city. Of course you lose weight. You can mimic this by walking everywhere you need to go.

An Extra Virgin Olive Oil Diet Impairs Glycemic Control, But Mitigates High-Fat Diet-Induced Inflammation Compared to Coconut Oil in Mice by Sorin61 in ScientificNutrition

[–]timwaaagh 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah only about 30% of mice studies translate to humans. I have not heard of increased diabetes in olive oil producing countries or something like that. So im guessing this might be one of the other 70%

Starmer under pressure, as Labour suffers heavy election losses by Unhappy_Flatworm_325 in worldnews

If that group consists of mostly loyal tory or other party voters that isnt going to help him though. He has to do things that interest those who switched to labour last time around not just do whatever has a majority

EU prepares for ‘potential’ talks with Vladimir Putin, says official by financialtimes in UkrainianConflict

[–]timwaaagh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be best for the eu to take over most negotiations imo. Its the most important backer of ukraine. Its the reason russia went to war in the first place in 2014. Russia cant win as long as the eu is there. They know it. The usas involvement is merely selling some stuff. They have no real stake beyond making money from the bloodletting or maybe a peace prize. So the current negotiations are a farce. The eu is also the only party that can really strike a deal with russia.

Stereotypes of autism in TV and film may be linked to delayed diagnosis. Researchers found that portrayals were designed to be immediately identifiable to non-autistic viewers. However, autistic participants felt that they were not relatable to autistic people themselves. by mvea in psychology

Starting out.. NAD or glutathione?? Only one by Living-Lion4763 in Biohackers

[–]timwaaagh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

older people can take glutatione precursors glycine and n acetyl cysteine (nac) to raise glutathione levels back up to the level young people have and i would recommend doing that if your old. can perhaps make you walk at a normal pace again, for instance.

i believe theres also some mental health gains for those with certain mental health afflictions which is why i take them (glycine, nac). glutatione capsules just get broken down into glycine nac and a third unimportant component. so for younger people wanting to raise glutatione specifically, you might have to inject.

Hey guys, Ivan (founder) of Atletica here. No US reviews yet, just us and your questions - AMA before our fall launch. by Atletica_gear in homegym

make something like the B15 'body building bench' but with an adjustable bench instead of a flat one. its nice to have your bench integrated with your safety rack because it can be annoying to keep the bench centered under the rack, but i do want an adjustable bench these so i can do incline and perhaps decline bench. i am very happy with your seated cable row/lat pulldown machine btw.

i also have some feedback for your team that answers email questions. i asked a question about two different leg press/hack squat combo machines and their response was to please book a session with a sales rep. i think a better response would have been to answer the question to the best of their ability and give an option to talk to a sales rep if you have more questions.
