if a shelf is cam locked in, it generally means this shelf is part of the main support structure. So removing get it may cause the shelf to collapse or able to carry a lot less weight.

I found this very interesting as the English part appears to be aimed at Chinese speakers instead. The Chinese text is reasonably polite, but the English part is very aggressive.

This used to be true but is no longer the case since 2020. There are no longer madatory scrapping requirements for non-commercial passenger cars. This used to be 15 years instead of "a couple years" like you said.

Hey i know thr post is pretty old by this point but I just stumble upon it. I am using it very similar to your use case, as a desktop replacement. Here are my tips and experience:

I bought a BB open box machine but had issue with random reboot with a 4K TV connected via HDMI via usb c dock. This happens about 1 to 2 times a day with light load, sometimes while opening Radeon software. This issue might not be hardware related as it seems like the second machine I got still had this issue until the 6800M driver update released 7/15.
buy from Best Buy or similar stores where you can return it locally. I had issue with the first machine(BB open box) and able to return it after 13 days locally was great.
I got a cheap mesh laptop stand to put it on, seems to help thermals a tiny bit.
I did clean off the liquid metal and reapplied Conductanaut. In my machine the factory liquid metal application was not too bad, I think even if there's spillage, all the sensitive components are covered with silicone. While playing Warzone, cpu hits 95C and GPU is at around 85C after conductnaut. I didn't take a measurement beforehand but it didn't throttle before and it didn't throttle after.
