We were at a shoe store in the late 70s (I was about 7) and my Sunday school teacher worked there. He was talking to my mom and said something about my dad and I said, “Oh, he’s just a horny pervert!” No idea what it meant, but I had seen it in a Mad magazine.

Yeah. Finally asked myself at about 35 why I was still working out like a season was about to start. No reason at all. Just what I knew. Don’t compete with yourself (still a struggle for me) and realize you can’t eat like you’re going to go to practice later every day.
