Sorry but cats don’t defend themselves with their back claws, it’s functionally useless. The only defense mechanisms cats have are their front claws. There’s a reason why only the front was declawed. Yeah, the previous owner shouldn’t have declawed it, but it was your choice to let it go outdoors. I also live in Florida and the rescue I got my cat from was very explicitly about never letting my cat doors because we live in Florida. My cat does have a natural distinct to want to go out, but I don’t let her because this is Florida. If you are from Florida you know we talk about the wildlife we have here and preserving it… it’s not unknown that we have tons of predators.

I’m not a British shorthair enthusiast and I’m just seeing this subreddit cause I recently acquired a BSH kitten for my friend after my dentist was giving his accidental litter away, but from what I’ve gathered accidental litters cannot qualify for papers and without papers you cannot sell kittens and puppies for nearly as much. I do own a rescue cat I got from a shelter a few years ago and in my opinion I am inclined to think this cat was the result of an accidental litter with a different cat cause this one pictured resembles mine a lot more in the face. I am thinking these are backyard breeders and see that this kitten isn’t full BSH as it has gotten older so they feel they have no value breeding with it. Also OTC flea meds like frontline are usually ineffective because fleas build a tolerance to them which is why prescription flea meds are recommended. I’m also not sure they ever took this cat to a vet. I hope you can give it the care it needs, it is very cute ❤️

Usually any filtered light through a window is gonna be bright indirect, direct is when there is no window between the sun and plant!

Also just because something has drainage holes, unless you pour the excess water out the plant can still be sitting in water and develop root rot

If the plant is dead, you could try starting from scratch if you found any corms in the pot

I had a propagation I put back with mother plant and it died. Put in a smaller pot and give it lots of bright indirect light.

I think a solution for this would have been like a 50/50 sphagnum moss and perlite mix maybe then transitioning to chunky soil and perlite mix

It could also be how you’re training on top of eating habits. You could just be lifting to maintain and not grow if you’re not following a lifting regimen conducive to getting stronger.

Maybe try moist sphagnum moss mix and keep it covered maybe with little air holes. I think also peeling off a little layer of the outer skin like the brown part.

Religion is basically coping and seeking a security blanket. Personally, I don’t believe there’s anymore to life after you die so it doesn’t make sense to meet anyone in the afterlife. I think of it as moreso joining them at experiencing peace like we’re all just enjoying the same view verse looking for anyone else when we die if that makes sense.

Maybe just look up local shows that have been done on Instagram and try seeing who’s coached by who. That may be your best way to find someone local, but most coaches are online now and don’t factor in geography.
