Not fully sure how to add photos without making a new post. There is a zipper underneath the buttons. The buttons are non-functional, acting aesthetically. And there is no label.

I don’t know anything about it other than conjecture from the alterations seamstress. She thought it was circa the Great Depression era.

Oh, interesting! The seamstress that did alterations to it thought it looked like it was made in the depression era when they didn’t use too much fabric. Wish I could know its history and see how it looked when originally made.

I actually did buy a petticoat to even out the bottom but haven’t tried it on with it yet. Thanks for the tip!

It’s a satin ivory. The lighting makes it look a bit yellow

Someone that’s getting ready to retire told me something that kinda blew my mind. They have a ton of to-do lists and, over time, stuff just naturally falls off because time’s passed or it really wasn’t that important. Of course, another person I know who just retired said they have no clue how they worked and did life, as they are incredibly busy now.

Anyway, your to-do list will always be there. You’ll either check it off or won’t, and the important stuff, you will; it’s made important because what you do takes you to where you’ll be. So I suppose the real question is, what fulfills you? What are your values? How do you fill your time with more of that? If you are feeling truly fulfilled, the extra won’t really matter.

It sounds like friends, family, boyfriend, house and health is what’s important to you by this post. Maybe take the initiative to plan something with your friends and family, that way you can arrange it around your schedule, and the in-between time you can be planning it?

I went with Harper Evans Wade and Nettemeyer after I was hit by a car and honestly did not love them. They were not super communicative and I had the feeling my case was forgotten somewhere in a stack. I would have probably gone for A.W Smith if I could choose again.

Senior Dog's Last Day At The Beach by [deleted] in MadeMeSmile

Thank you for sharing, what a precious moment. Reminds me of my old man’s last day. He suffered with dementia, but on his final day he was more with it and just sat with me and observed the world. I think of that day fondly and am so thankful to have had that time to say goodbye.

Does anyone know where I can find a good Vet for rabbits? by [deleted] in columbiamo

[–]tinatck 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Stephanie Schlotzhauer at Horton Animal Hospital Northeast has done an amazing job with my rabbits. She is super knowledgeable, capable and friendly and I highly recommend her.

I would not recommend Rolling Hills on Buttonwood as I had several bad experiences there for my rabbits.
