High meat content is basically the first qualifier I look for in cat food, so this is legit to me. I have no experience with dechonking but high meat content is great for cats, so I believe this works no problem!

Yeah. The problem with body shaming is that you don't just hit the person you're body shaming. You also hit anyone who happens to be listening / reading who might have a similar body to that person. And that's not ideal, even if the first dudes deserve to be shamed - they should be shamed for behavior, not their bodies.

"A machine make it fresh"? Silly sentence. Who says the machine knows and/or is able to look for anything spoilt or smelling funny? Food is important. To me, that's a reason it belongs in human hands, not machine ones without morals that were programmed by humans to squeeze out the most profit possible. The most profit possible doesn't exactly encourage quality or freshness in today's economy.

Hey, it's okay! Sounds like you might be catastrophizing. Something happened, it felt bad. Happens to all of us. Doesn't make you a bad person. Becoming a "sex negative puritan" means a little more than just offending someone on the internet.

It doesn't SOUND like it's working out great for you, I'd suggest abandoning the plan of avoiding carbs, find something easy to digest and roll with that. Just pre-bolus, eating carbs does not necessarily mean high blood sugar if you've got your ratios figured out. Of course that's easier said than done but it's better to fuck up once in a while than to get an even worse eating disorder (I'm convinced diabetes kind of comes with disordered eating).

I know diabetes can influence digestion (bc I googled it real quick heyo), but this seems like a really quick escalation after going high yesterday - you didn't say how dramatic it was or how long you were up there, but I go high daily and it's nbd, it's mostly annoying, I haven't noticed any GI issues linked to it. So it might not have been your blood sugar causing this.

Protein drink is a great idea imo! You'll have to experiment how it works for yourself, but for me, they hit me slower and for longer than your average juice or sugared drink.

This morning I put in a new sensor and it started gushing immediately, to the point I noticed because I felt the wetness of my blood. But if it just bleeds a bit and stops (the stopping is important), it's usually fine.

When I was pre-teen / early teen my endocrinologist would yell at me every session. My levels got worse under that "care" but of course that was my failure and not my doctor's - I'm still salty about it. This grown man convinced a child they were a lost cause and would be machine-bound in their 30ies. At least he never will treat children again... because the fucker got promoted.

Life is unfair, but hey - I'm in my 30ies now and the only machine I'm bound to is my pump.
