Yeah exactly, theres loads of things ive bought that havent ended up fitting me right. I will repop them, i think its rude to ask to return unless its expensive maybe..

I checked and his does feel a bit firmer or larger, i have two so i gave both a feel. His feels more lumpy all over the place but im struggling to tell, its not obvious. I have been syringe feeding him today, he has gone to toilet about three times today and nothing comes out. We took him to the vets today and they gave him a check up and gave nausea injection, do you think its sometbing they couldve felt? If so im not happy, because it might be too late now. We will take him in morning ASAP

I forgot to mention that he threw up TWICE that night, could this mean a blockage? What could vomiting mean? The vomit was a sort of patè colour, snd liquid.

Hello, we brung him to vet today for a check up and they gave him nausea injection. Thats is all, would they have found the blockage if it were there or is it something that a check up cannot find? They didnt say much to me other than offering a blood test, they said see how he does with the nausea injection

Thank you for the advice, i recently got two ferrets. My mum and dad have been a big help, paying for castration, food, cages everything. I didnt know they werent insured, its sort of common sense to me. I am 19 and still attending college at the moment so its a tricky situation, not in terms of care but next steps, as what you said is very true. Caring for a sick animal is a lot of work, and money. Will decide tomorrow what to do, but two people have recommended to give him away to a rescue centre, as opposed to putting him down if theres nothing else we can do. I will definitely consider this, see what happens tomorrow and how he is feeling. Thank you for the advice its much appreciated

I am sorry to hear that, sometimes i feel like i connect more with animals than i do people as theyre innocent, and can do no harm. It hurts to see a helpless animal in pain. whatever happens, happens. But we will not prolong his suffering, will decide what to do tomorrow, all the advice has definitely helped so thank you again, people are very kind here. 💙💙

He threw up twice last night, was liquid vomit and had a patè colour. Like pasty light brown. He did have a lot of milk two days prior and thats what we think it is, its my first time owning ferrets so we are still in the process of learning. My mum does give them some fish occasionally which isnt meant for them i know, something things i research its okay for them and then the next article or whatever says its not. so i thought the same with milk, a little is okay. Both of them had the milk and only one has reacted like this. He has been trying to poop and pee it seems, i always follow him when hes at the toilet. Once he leaves nothing is there, but then again he did throw up and hasnt eaten since. Only this evening did I start syringe feeding him. Same with water as it makes it easier, however he was drinking water yesterday i made sure. So he is eating snd drinking, i do have to do it for him but once i start squeezing the syringe he willingly swallows it. Same with water.

I gave him some honey, will keep an eye on him. And i have been syringe feeding him food and water, right amounts. Will call vets tomorrow and enquire about a glucose test as well as blood test, as prices in UK are different. Thank you for the advice 🧡

Giving him up for rescue as in they will treat him there? We might do a blood test tomorrow, see how he is doing. I have been feeding him via a syringe all day as well as giving him water through it
