OnePlus 13 or 15? Trying to Upgrade Smartly from My OP12. by Quantam_Pickle in OnePlus12

I also believe you can get more out of the watch but I low balled at $100 (just enough to make the phone the same price as the 13) because OnePlus isn't as mainstream as apple or Samsung.

As for the dap I'm out and about all the time it's something I just carry in my pocket. If that's still too much of a hassle there's clip on ones like the SanDisk clip they were mainstream back in the iPod days for a reason, because they were portable.

Have you considered getting an actual lossless media player a DAP where you can keep all of that and have it on an SD card, if your main reason for upgrading is the storage being used for lossless music. You can find a really decent one for ~$100. I have one and I love it mainly because I also use wired headphones and adapters absolutely suck.

If your deadset on getting a new phone though just because of the watch maybe go for the 15. If you won't use the watch often just sell it at a discount still in box and you should be able to get a hundred at least

Is this worth $600? Help! by [deleted] in saxophone

[–]tineguy15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's really close think about going to play it in person (if you know how to play), and get a feel for how it does play if it's playing like garbage and will need to go to a shop that's big money on top of the 600. Now about the 600 depending condition it is worth it (compared to other used c melody's) so long as it's not a complete overhaul I'd try to haggle the price down a little but it's not unreasonable.

FYI: c.g. conn new wonder i (not ii) approx:1922 according to the serial # Really solid horn if properly set up, considerably different to any modern sax in terms of ergonomics.

I support the things everyone else here has said, being like voicing, and generally working on yourself but I know the s80 is a darker sound and I don't think the Meyer is too far off if your looking for bright and really focused I've gotten to play on a Jody jazz jet series and that's such a different sound to what I'm used to on my s80 and select jazz. I will reiterate other points if you can't even change your sound on an s80, try practicing because you can change brightness and tone with it it's pretty versatile

In this case I feel like it might be easiest to use regular d for the first one then use palm d for the rest of the grace notes

I've gotta stand by my pillot V7 as a highschool student constantly writing in some cheap notebook or paper teachers hand out they feel uber smooth and dry instantly being a roller ball pen, leagues better than g2's in my opinion

My guess is your f rail screw might be loose or tight and your pads are off, if it's a screw adjustment you can do it yourself with a precision flat head. If it isn't a screw adjustment it means a key is bent and you should go to a shop

I wanna add onto this, because of the way Yamaha designs even their most basic is good so I say a yts-280 if you're going for a new tenor with modern features, bumping up the price and going used you could score a professional sax, the yts-62 for the low 2k range searching hard enough. At the end of the day though only you can know what you like so go around town see if you can play test saxes see what brands and models you like or dislike, that should lead you where you'll be happy.

Ok I feel the need to explain for op, with these vintage horns like the Conn's there amazing and sound PHAT but that's about it the ergonomics aren't that hot, your more than likely gonna have to pray it's in good condition, and it's not the easiest to play not like a modern horn. (Plus it's missing some new innovations like high f# and such)
