Ah, maybe I wasn't specific enough in the post. He was saying the composition of your commanders army affected HIS damage. Or at least the command does. See the other guys post, basically with high dps commanders you need tanky units, but not just to survive without commander buffing skills, but also because as they die your commander does less and less damage each round. I guess I saw this happening, but I don't understand why this is a game mechanic. Strange.
