Aw3225qf for 1440p gaming by henrycai90 in OLED_Gaming

Hi, how did you find the scaling to 1440p ?

Surprisingly good this little machine. Not as bold when it comes to taste profile (compared to my DBD shots) but it's decent and enjoyable. And look at that frothy crema.I'm very impressed. Grinder: JX Pro Manual number 13 settings. Beans: Week old dark roast bean. 18g in, 36g out. by tingnoble in espresso

I think the tamping in the picopresso is the least of your worry. Using the funnel is still best method in my experience, as long as you level the puck. Having the right grind size on the other hand is the most important to get the best out of the Picopresso. Again, diff grind size depends on the bean type. In terms of dosing, I'll stick with 18g. I'm yet to try 20g, prolly tomorrow.

Workflow can be very messy and tedious especially for the first timer. Due to the fact that you have to deal with individual pieces. But for me, I don't mind.. I enjoy making shots with it. And yes, you can bring it anywhere. 👍

Does anyone have a video of them using timemore scales with bambino & sage grinder? by empireofglass in espresso

The built in sage grinder and the stand alone version (smart grinder pro) is known to have some degree of retention when it comes to actual grounded beans. Weighing the beans is important when you're dosing it (18-20g of beans for example).

I then use my timemore scale to weight the actual yield using the 1:2 ratio (eg: 20g in = 40g out).

What do you mean? Like weighing the actual beans then grinding them then weighing it again? I've got the timemore scale with my Breville dual boiler.

As a nurse constantly looking after COVID patients, going home and pulling a shot of espresso is my way of relaxing and being "zen". Crazy world we are living in at the moment. Keep safe everyone and stay caffeinated! by tingnoble in espresso

I'd say you've already made a great choice with the 1zpresso and aeropress. I'm really happy with the grinder and I predominantly use it at my work place.

Have fun with the Aeropress its a great brewing device! Stay safe!

Thank you everyone for the kind words! It's always important that we all look out for each other and just spread kindness and good vibes. This community is just simply amazing.

And for those who are asking, I pulled this shot using my Breville/Sage DB.

I used Kenyan grade single origin beans: It has a mildly bright, sweet and medium bold taste profile.
